Jasmin Cabrera serves as the Business Services Coordinator at Heartland Workforce Solutions. In this role, she is the primary contact for all business-related inquiries. Her responsibilities include establishing connections with businesses to understand their hiring needs. Jasmin takes pleasure in bridging the gap between employers and job seekers through the organization of job fairs and employer spotlight events. You can often find her networking, assisting in job fair coordination, crafting & managing social media content, or coordinating sector strategy workgroups.
With a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology from Iowa State University, Jasmin began her career in Omaha, working in the child welfare sector as a Family Permanency Specialist. This experience equipped her with valuable skills in advocating for both children and adults, especially in the often marginalized communities. Jasmin’s strong passion for assisting others drives her work at HWS, where she brings a fresh perspective and a strong desire to contribute to the promotion of economic prosperity in our service area, by connecting people to opportunities. Jasmin also serves as the Communications Chair for the Young Nonprofit Professionals Network of the Greater Omaha.
In her free time, Jasmin enjoys quality time with her family and friends. She also indulges in activities such as retail therapy, exploring new dining experiences, dancing, playing soccer, and traveling.
