Kathleen P. was a great example of coming into Y.E.T and making the program work for you. She started off completing her necessary steps to be successful in the program, completing career readiness activities in a timely manner, and working with her career navigator on her career plan. Once she was approved to start Nebraska Maintenance Academy she completed her classes and jumped on the opportunity to interview with The Lund Company. They collaborated with Y.E.T so that she can gain skills in her career, provide soft skills training, and give her the opportunity to put her best foot forward in our work experience program. She successfully completed the program and was given a permanent position as a Maintenance Technician within 3 weeks’ time.
