ATTENTION ALL FOOD PROCESSING EMPLOYEES AND EMPLOYERS!
You’re invited to take the COVID-19 WORKER PROTECTIONS SURVEY. This survey ends December 31, 2020.
Refugee Empowerment Center is part of a collaborative effort between other service providers and the city to increase transparency regarding COVID-19 Worker Protections in place for workers at food processing plants. Employers and employees are asked the same set of questions, to ensure the employees are seeing the same protections that the employers are reporting that they are providing and vice versa. Please note, that although the name of the plant and worker protection info is published online, the name of the person submitting the information will not be shared publicly.
Sharing information on COVID-19 Worker Protections helps to:
1. Increase transparency and accountability
2. Inform existing food processing employees of the protections available to them where they work; what they should request and expect
3. Enable and empower potential employees to make informed decisions
NEED AN INTERPRETER? Write your name, phone number, and language of interpretation needed and a staff member will call you with an interpreter to fill out the survey. COVID-19 Worker Protections – Refugee Empowerment Center. You may also call HWS at (402) 444-4700 for assistance.
