What is MC3?
The Multi-Craft Core Curriculum (MC3) is a nationally recognized pre-apprenticeship program developed by North America’s Building Trades Unions (NABTU) and delivered through TradesFutures.
MC3 introduces participants to the construction industry while building the knowledge, skills, and workplace readiness needed to enter Registered Apprenticeship programs.
By connecting education, employers, labor organizations and workforce partners, MC3 helps strengthen the future construction workforce across our region.

MC3 is designed primarily for high school juniors and seniors, helping students begin departing for careers before graduation while meeting apprenticeship age requirements.

- Reentry and justice-involved populations.
Employer-led Workforce Development
MC3 is guided industry partners to ensure students develop the skills employers need most.
Through employer engagement, work-based learning , and direct exposure to apprenticeship opportunities, participants gain valuable insight into careers across the construction industry withal building relationships with local contractors, union, and apprenticeship programs.
