Adult Program
It Begins with a Living Wage
We help you find stable, well-paying jobs through job search support and skill-building. Our career advisors will assist in identifying a living wage for your situation and guide you towards careers that meet that standard. We’ll also use the H3 website (http://H3.ne.gov) to explore high-wage, high-skill careers in Nebraska, with all activities focused on reaching this goal.
Program Eligibility
18 years old or older
All applicants may be considered eligible for services with priority given to recipients of public assistance, other low-income individuals, veterans, and individuals who are basic skills deficient.
Eligibility Documents
- Valid photo identification that includes date of birth
- Selective Service Registration for males 18 & older
- Social Security Card
- Evidence of at least one of the barriers listed above
Other documents may be required depending on the services being received.
Cost
All services are provided at zero cost to the job seeker and are funded by the Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act.
Dislocated Worker Program
Committed to Helping our Community Recover
Helping individuals affected by a layoff transition to new employment by providing job search assistance and training opportunities.
Program Eligibility
18 years old or older
AND any of the following:
- You have been terminated or laid off, or
- You have received a notice of termination or layoff from employment,
- You are self-employed and are currently unemployed because of general economic conditions or natural disaster, or
- You are a homemaker that has been providing unpaid services to family members in the home and now must reenter the workforce, or
- You are a service member or a spouse of a service member that is separated or will be separated from the U.S. Armed Forces.

- Evidence of at least one of the barriers listed above
