Stan’s education and work experience has focused primarily on workforce development, public policy, and administrative law. He has a strong passion for public service and has spent much of his career working within state government. Stan’s experience also includes numerous collaborations with state and local government agencies, state legislators, institutions of higher education, secondary schools, educational service units, and a wide array of nonprofits.
Stan holds a Juris Doctor degree from the University of Nebraska College of Law and a Master of Arts in Political Science from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln (with areas of concentration in Public Policy and American Government). He completed a dual undergraduate degree in Political Science and History at Weber State University.
Stan most recently has worked as a consultant for various workforce development boards and economic development groups from around the country, with a primary focus on strategic planning and industry/sector engagement. He was previously the Director of the Office of Employment and Training with the Nebraska Department of Labor and the Executive Director for the Nebraska Equal Opportunity Commission.
Stan is originally from northern Utah and has three children. He enjoys playing tennis, running, watching movies, reading, and loves binge-watching tv shows on way too many streaming services.
